Please contact me if you have Whatleys, Dukes, Dumases, Colliers, Gardners,
Suttons as well as Coles. These families were friends AND relatives of my
Cole family. The Whatleys, Dukes and Dumases appear on various legal
documents relating to my families.
Also, if you have a Winniford that you believe married a Cole, we are
looking for the maiden name of one Winneford/Winnie who married Jacob Cole
between 1789 and 1792. She may have been a Duke, a Dumas, or a Whatley.
Winnie would have been born abt. 1770.
The following documents were transcribed from copies of the originals by
Ernest Mae Seaholm and Paula Anne Baker, descendants of Jacob Cole, November
2001.
