I Francis McLeod of said state and county being of sound mind and disposing memory do 
make this my last will and testament.
 
Item First- I give, bequeath and desire to my sister, Mary E. Holt the following 
property, one third of my real estate the said Mary E. Holt part to include the 
dwelling house and the land around the house free from all charge or limitation 
whatever to her own purpose use benefit and behoof.
 
Item Second- I give bequeath and desire to my Brother Carey McLeod for and during his 
natural life one third of my real estate and at his death said property to rest in and 
become the property of the children of my sister Mary E. Holt and Ellen Manly living 
at the time of his death.
 
Item Third- I give bequeath and desire to my sister Ellen Manly the remaining third 
of my real estate free from all charges or limitations whatever to her own purpose 
benefit and behoof. 
 
Item Fourth- I hereby constitute and appoint my sister Mary E. Holt Executrix of this 
my last will and testament this the day of Sept. 1886
 
Signed declared and published by Francis B. McLeod as her last will and testament in 
the presence of us the subscribers who subscribe our names here to in the presence of 
said testator and of each other her signing in our presence.

                           and A.J. Manly two of the witnesses named on the back of 
this paper which purports to be the last will and testament of Francis B. McLeod 
deceased, who being sworn say that they together with the other witnesses J.D. Manly 
and J.R. Manly saw Francis B. McLeod sign her name on back of said paper and heard her 
declare the same to be her last will and testament and at that time she was of sound 
and disposing mind and memory and acted freely and voluntarily and signed same in 
presence of all the witnesses and they signed in her presence and of each other.
