Last Will and Testament of W.S. Ballard

Georgia, Pike County
I, W.S. Ballard of said State and County, do hereby make this my last
Will and Testament thereby rebuking all other wills heretofore made by
me.
Item 1. I will devise and direct that my body be buried in a Christian
like manner suitable to my circumstance in life.
Item 2. I will, devise and bequeath to my wife Carrie B. Ballard, all of
my property of whatever kind or nature and whereas situated. Both real
and personal for and during her natural life, and she has the right to
use any part of my estate, either real or personal, or both if necessary
for her support.
Item Three. It is my will and desire that my son James E. Ballard have
two hundred ($200.00) Dollars from my estate at the death of my said
wife, Mrs. Carrie B. Ballard. This sum shall be paid to my son James E.
Ballard by my executor before any division of the remainder of my
estate.
Item 4. I will and direct that the remaining part of my estate left by
my wife and after the payment to James E. Ballard the $200.00, as set
out in Item 3 shall be equally divided between my children, they to
share and share alike. Namely Etta Barrow, Milton Ballard, Kate Mann
(sp), Pellie Davis, Walter Ballard, James E. Ballard, and the family of
my deceased son Jobe Ballard.
Item 5. I hereby name my sons, Walter F. Ballard, and James E. Ballard
as my executors of this my last will and testament and they are not
required to make any bond or make any returns to any court. All that is
required of them is to probate this will.

the request of W.S. Ballard in his presence and in the presence of each
