Pike County This indenture made the twenty first day of October eighteen hundred
and thirty nine, between Andrew J. Cardin of the county and state aforesaid of the one
part, and Owen H.K? Cardin of the same place of the other part.
Wintesseth that the said Andrew J. Cardin for and in consideration hath granted,
bargained, sold, and conveyed and do by these present, grant, bargain, sell and convey
unto the said Owen H.K. Cardin his heirs and assigned all that piece or parcel of land
situated, lying and being in the county aforesaid the same being the southeast quarter
of lot No. number one hundred and twenty three (123) lying and being in the seventh
district of orginally Monroe, but now Pike county, containing fifty acres be the same
more or less. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto him the said
Owen H.K. Cardin, his heirs and assigned together with all and singular the rights
members and appearances thereof to the same and in any manner belonging to his and
their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said Andrew J.
Cardin for hmself, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns the said bargained
promises unto the said Owen H.K. Cardin his heirs and assingns with warrant and forever
defered the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim of all
other persons whatever. In witness where of the said Andrew J. Cardin hath hereunto
sit my hand and seal the date above written.
