This indenture made and entered into this the third day of March one thousand and eight hundred forty six between Owen H.K. Carden of the one part and Andrew J. Carden of the other part both of the same state and county being written wtnesseth that the said Owen H.K. Carden for his consideration of the Two hundred dollars to him in hand paid at or before the sealing and delivering these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sell, and convey unto the said Andrew J. Carden, his heirs, and assigns all that piece or parcel of land situated lying and being in the county of named being the south east quarter of lot No. Number one hundred and twenty three (123) lying and being in the seventh district of originally Monroe but now Pike County fifty acres be the same more or less to have, to hold the said parcel of land unto him the said Andrew J. Carden his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights encumbered there of to the same and in any manner belonging to this other own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said Owen H.K. Carden for himself, his heirs, Executors, administrators and assigns Will unamed and forever deferred the right, thereof against themselves and against the claims of all other persons whatever.
In witness whereof the said Owen H.K. Carden had to set my hand and seal the date above written.
