Fairfield Church Cemetery

Transcribed by Sandra Ann (Horton) Brown; Contributed by Mary Jewell (Horton) Hall, permissions granted by all participants.

Highway 362 south approximately Hollonville, Georgia, left on concord road about a mile
to CME church on right. Cemetery is in horrible condition. (Tomb stone broken, graves washing
away or big sunken holes, Slabs broke apart. It's hard to tell if it's ageing of cemetery
or vandalism. Note the difference in the spelling of Hutchinson. Name is sometimes spelled
differently within a family plot.

Paul L Hutcherson b. 6-29-1939 d. 4-8-1995
Annette Hutcherson b. 6-10-1943 d. 8-16-1951
Lillie Hutcherson b. 11-1-1917 d. 11-10-1980
Andrew W.(Pete) Hutcherson b. 9-13-1909 d. 8-1-1996
U. Favors b. 7-15-1896 d. 8-14-1945

Next Plot:
One new grave no markings
John C Hutcherson (Willie C.) b. 5-20-1939 d. 5-30-1991
Verna Hutcherson PVT US Army - WWII- b. 5-9-1920 d. 4-15-1985

Next Plot:
Annie G. Hutcherson b. 8-7-1900 d. 1-23-1985
In same plot adjoining graves as if husband and wife:
Mr. Howard Hutchinson 6-4-1980
Mr. Aionzu Hutchinson 9-8-1974
These last two stones appeared to be much older than the dates inscribed on them. These seem
to have been etched with a stick or finger in wet cement.

This is a very large cemetery and is incomplete. There were also a lot of Parks, Reids,
Youngs and Yarbroughs.
