Bethany Christian Church is 116 years old, has no running water, no heat, no electricity, no air conditioning. It has only one member (Eunice Dunn) and only holds one service a year (second Sunday of June). This church and cemetery are located near Williamson, seven miles southwest of Griffin. Most of the membership have moved their membership to nearby Williamson Christian Church. Descendants of those buried in the adjoining cemetery chip in to maintain the cemetery and church grounds. Perhaps someone will contribute the tombstone records of this very old cemetery to this site.

Sandra left there and went to the Bethany Christian 
Church on Bethany Rd, established in 1879. In the cemetery 
there she found one date - 1877. She found a grave stone 
with the same name and dates as the one at the house of Annie
Nell Hutchinson. Annie Nell Hutchinson 1/13/1892 --4/8/1907.

Born 5/29/1892 
Married R. C. Hutchinson 2/24/1910 
Died 1/1/1923

There were 2 graves with concrete slabs covering them 
with writing that looked like it was done with the fingers 
about 6" tall.
