Ok this is related to my wishlist family and my brick wall. I just in the last few days have found out that Hancock brothers Joseph (either E or F) and William David moved from Arkansas to Michigan sometime in the mid to late 1920s. I just recievd their fathers newspaper obit (not much info but a little) stating they both lived in Michigan in 1931. I had also recieved information from 1930 census placing Joseph with wife Ethel in Pontiac Michigan. My Mom found a photo tday of Joseph with Pontiac Michigan on the back. So we know this information is correct now. I just found a William Hancock with same birth date as our William in the SSDI last benefit in Wayne Co Michigan. I feel pretty sure this is the same William. Now I need to find out the rest of their info. Wife, children and death dates burial places. So far no luck finding any info for them between the time they left home and the time we find them in Michigan. Both brothers were still living at home with parents in 1920 Van Buren Co Arkansas census.

Joseph (possibly Edward) Hancock born March 07, 1890 in Arkansas also known as Joe.
Unknown where or when he married, Wifes name Ethel UNKNOWN. Census mentions 2 children. Info I was sent said childrens names are also Joseph and Ethel. Kinda weird both kids having same names as both parents...but maybe not that unusual.
Need info on wife and kids. Living in Pontiac Michigan in 1930.

William David Hancock born February 08, 1895 in Arkansas . I think he may have used David more than William. Married in 1922 in Arkansas , Wifes name according to Van Buren CO Ar marriage records is Thyra Belle Clairborn. There could be various spellings of her last name. No info on her at all and no info on possible children. According to SSDI Last know address was in Westland Wayne Michigan if I found the corredt William Hancock.
