ALL ADAIRSVILLE SADDENED BY DEATH MRS. JOHN PAVLOVSKY

Native of Poland, But Had Resided In Bartow More Than Sixty Years – Services From Home Friday.

Adairsville, April 6 – (Special) Mrs. John Pavlovsky passed away at her home early Thursday morning March 31st after a brief illness.When information of their mother’s condition the children came home and did all that loving hearts and hands could do, but of no avail. Mrs. Pavlovsky was one of the eldest women in Adairsville. Born in Brier Thorn Poland, December 18th, 1847. Before her marriage she was Miss Victoria Sepifensky. Came to America in 1870, never returning to her native land. She moved into the home where she died in 1880, the oldest residence in town. Mrs. Pavlovsky lived for her husband and children – her home was her world. Mr. and Mrs. Pavlovsky were married in Poland 68 years ago. She is survived by her husband who is 80 years of age. Three sons, W.L. and John of Marietta and James of Adairsville. Four daughters, Mrs. Sophia Edwards of Nashville, Tenn; Mrs. Francis Mashburn of East Point, Ga; Mrs. T.F. Byers of Ellenwood and Mrs. W.C. Bogle of Adairsville. Twenty-four grand children and fifteen great grand-children.

The funeral was from the home Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock. Father J.G. Cassidy officiating. Singing by a choir selected from all the churches in Adairsville. Many lovely flowers came from relatives and friends. Pallbearers were grandsons of the deceased. Interment was in Oothcalooga cemetery and W.P. Whitworth was in charge.
