Here is a splendiferous site from Nova Scotia Archives that made its debut this week:

https://www.novascotiagenealogy.com/

Visit it for scans of ORIGINAL registers of births, marriages in deaths in Nova Scotia, Canada as follows:

Births: 1864-1877

Marriages: 1864-1930

Deaths: 1864-1877 and 1908-1955

Viewing the registers is FREE!!! However you must pay for an efile or paper copy of a record. It is really wonderful when original records become available. biggrin.gif

I know - I have had so much fun with it too. I didn't find the records I sought yet, but I'm not giving up. At least people can now view the registers for free, instead of writing and HOPING they are contacting the write town or county!

It's a really wonderful resource and I am so glad we don't have to rely on the microfilms anymore! dance2.gif
