Heart Seizue Fatal Saturday to J.Al Neff

Well-known Jackson Churchman Had Been Salesman 25 years

J.Al Neff, well-known Jackson churchman and traveling salesman died suddently at his home, 309 Division, Saturday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock from a heart seizure.

An employe of the Carey Salt Company for the past 25 years, Mr. Neff was said to have been doing some work during the morning hours and had gone home for his lunch at mid-day, shortly before the attack occurred.

A son of the late Capt. W.D. and Mrs. Mary Inman Neff, he was born and reared in Jackson, where he was a member of the B.P.O. Elks, and the First Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Tress Dorris Neff, daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. G.M. Dorris of Bolivar; one son, W.A. Neff of Jackson; one daughter, Mrs. D.G. Stewart of Jackson; one sister, Mrs. John Tomlin of Jackson, and one grandson, Billy Neff, of Jackson.

The body will remain at Griffin Funeral Home Until 4:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon when funeral services will be conducted in the chapel there by the Rev. T.S. Daniel and Dr. W. Morris Ford.

Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery with the following active pall bearers:
Ridley Mitchell, John Vandenbosch, Hugh Hicks, Neill Ferguson, R.C. Hinton, H.W. Mitchell, Dave Murray and C.A. Wilkins.

The following honorary pallbearers will serve:
