RAOGK is a great site, with volunteer help from not only the United States but all over the world. While it is manned by volunteers, it is not 'free' - you are expected to pay for the cost of copies, postage, film, parking, etc.
This is a great place to go to find an tombstone photo, obituary, death record, etc, often with a turn-around time much quicker than directly contacting a courthouse or library.

Go to http://www.raogk.org then scroll down to the FAQ's for requesters and find some great new information to help with your research.
