Mrs. Sadie J. White
Mrs. Sadie J. White, aged 69 years, of 1226 Huron avenue died at her home, Saturday at 11:45 p.m. following an illness of complications. She was the widow of Hosea White, who died 10 years ago.
The deceased was born in Shenango township on April 26, 1873, the daughter of Zacharia and Margret Jane Carner Tindall. She lived her entire lifetime in Lawrence County, and resided with her daughter, Mrs. Leona Hollis for the past six years. Mrs. White was a faithful member of the Third U.P. church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leona Hollis and Mrs. Maye Dunkerly, the latter of Glassport, Pa, and the following brothers and sisters. William Tindall, Harmony, Pa., Hulda Tindall and John Tindall, both of Perry township; and Nellie Tindall and Mrs. Josie Groves of this city. She also leaves five grandchildren, Joan Hollis, New Castle; Maurice, Jr., Donald, Benton and Richard Dunkerly, of Glassport, Pa.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon for the residence at 2 p.m., with Rev. C.R. Thayer, in
charge, and interment will follow in Oak Park cemetery.
